1.Chrome Ore Mining & Beneficiation – Wadh, Balochistan

Orestik is spearheading a large-scale chrome ore mining and beneficiation project in Wadh, one of Balochistan’s most prolific chromite belts. Our team conducted detailed geological mapping, ore body modeling, and resource estimation to initiate structured mining operations.

2.Heavy Mineral Sand Project – Brar, Balochistan

We are working with Gulf Minerals on a promising heavy mineral sand mining project in Brar, Balochistan, located within the broader Phor mineral belt. The project targets a valuable mix of zircon, chromite, and barite

This project is one of Pakistan’s first serious efforts to explore and develop inland heavy mineral sand deposits, and positions Gulf Minerals and Orestik at the forefront of strategic industrial mineral development.

3.Copper Ore Upgrading – Bela & Surrounding Regions, Balochistan

Orestik has successfully developed and implemented customized beneficiation strategies for both copper oxide and copper sulfide ores found in the wadh region and adjacent mineral belts of Balochistan. These projects highlight our expertise in tailoring process flows to match ore chemistry and maximize recovery from low-grade resources.

Copper Oxide Ore:

Upgraded from 2% Cu to 80%+ Cu concentrate using leaching and hydrometallurgical concentration methods, suitable for SX-EW and direct refining.

Copper Sulfide Ore:

Upgraded from 0.5% Cu to 20%+ Cu concentrate through flotation-based beneficiation, delivering a high-grade feedstock ready for smelting.

These results demonstrate our ability to turn marginal ore bodies into viable commercial assets, particularly in regions with small- to medium-scale copper potential. Our approach offers a cost-effective, location-specific solution to support copper development across Pakistan.

4.Barite Mining & Beneficiation – Bela, Lasbela District

We are delivering a barite beneficiation project in Bela, where the ore feed has a specific gravity of 3.4–3.7. Our solution involves:

The plant is being designed for 2,000 MT/month input capacity, targeting the oil & gas market both locally and for export.

Upcoming projects

1.Fluorite Upgrading Project – Kalat Region, Balochistan

Status: Sample Testing & Process Feasibility

Objective: Upgrade low-grade fluorite (CaF₂ ~40%) to metallurgical grade (>90%)

Orestik is initiating a fluorite upgrading project in Kalat, where naturally occurring deposits hold potential for downstream use in steelmaking and hydrofluoric acid production.

2.Rock Phosphate Beneficiation – Hazara Division

Status: Ore Assessment & Pilot Testing

Objective: Upgrade low-grade phosphate (P₂O₅ < 20%) to fertilizer-grade (>30%)

Pakistan’s growing demand for phosphate-based fertilizers has made rock phosphate beneficiation a national priority. Orestik is developing a beneficiation process to convert marginal-grade ore into high-grade phosphate concentrate suitable for fertilizer production.
